If you do not want to come directly to Szeged from Ferihegy Airport, there are several ways for travelling.
1. By public transportation:
Passengers are taken by direct bus service (bus number 200 or 200E) from Terminals 1 and 2 to Kőbánya-Kispest Metro Station. This service adjusts much better to the passenger traffic at the airport, because larger or bigger luggage can also be transported. It operates more frequently and for longer hours providing a link between the city and the airport even after midnight and at early dawn. Bus 93 operates from Terminal 1 to Kőbánya-Kispest Metro Station. By the "blue" (3) metro you can reach Deák Ferenc Square in the city in 20 minutes. A single (one-way) ticket costs between 290-400 HUF (400 HUF, when buying on the bus from the driver). For more information about Budapest public transportation see: BKV
2. By minibus:
Similarly to other airports, Budapest Airport also operates a shuttle service called "Airport Minibus". Passengers are taken to the previously requested address by microbuses with 8/11 seats. The bus drivers and the staff of the dispatcher desks speak foreign languages and are familiar with Budapest and its traffic including the simplest and fastest routes. The guests of the Airport Minibus can get into direct contact with the airport and might obtain information about the required flights during the bus journey. Further details: Budapest Airport
3. By taxi:
A new taxi company has recently started operating from Ferihegy. "Zona taxi" offers low prices and high quality services. Zona Taxi contacts: +36/1-365-5555, zonataxi@zonataxi.eu, Taxis from other companies can also be pre-ordered at the airport.
